MX Offroad Master
More games to play
MX Offroad Master is a physics-based dirt-bike game where you ride downhill across steep mountain courses on one of four motocross bikes. It is free in the browser with no download needed, and it works on mobile and Chromebook, so it is playable at school or anywhere you have a browser open. The handling is weightier than a typical arcade racer. Gravity does a lot of the work on the steep descents, but landing cleanly after a big jump takes real brake control. Local two-player racing is built in, so you and a friend can compete on the same keyboard.
What is MX Offroad Master?
MX Offroad Master is a 3D motocross game built around downhill mountain riding. You pick one of four bikes and then navigate a series of steep, jump-heavy tracks where gravity does most of the accelerating for you. The physics reward careful brake timing over raw speed. Riders who charge every section without modulating their front and rear brakes independently will spend a lot of time watching the restart screen.
The game offers two modes: a 14-level course mode where you work through tracks in order to earn currency and unlock the next stage, and a free ride sandbox where you practice stunts and rack up coins at your own pace. A first-person camera option is also available, which puts you right behind the handlebars for a more committed view of each drop.
Controls and braking
Each player has a separate key set. Braking is split between front and rear, which matters a lot on the longer jumps.
| Action | Player 1 | Player 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Accelerate / move | W / A / D | Arrow keys |
| Front brake | Space | Right Shift |
| Rear brake | S | Down Arrow |
| Switch camera | C | O |
| Restart | R | P |
Course mode and free ride
The game has two distinct modes. Knowing how each one works helps you earn currency faster.
| Mode | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Course mode | 14 levels in sequence; finish each track to earn coins and unlock the next | Progression and new tracks |
| Free ride | Open area with no finish line; pull off stunts at your own pace | Earning coins and rubies quickly |
Tips for landing jumps and earning coins
- Use the rear brake mid-air to level the bike before landing. The front brake on landing almost always ends in a crash.
- Free ride pays out faster than course mode for pure coin and ruby farming, so grind there between level attempts.
- The first-person camera makes judging distances harder but gives better feedback on the bike's lean angle. Switch to third-person for technical sections.
- On the steeper drops in later levels, tap the rear brake early to keep the nose up rather than braking hard at the last moment.
- If you are playing two-player, the player who manages air time best (not necessarily the fastest overall) tends to reach the bottom with fewer restarts.
